Dr. Barankin is the best doctor/dermatologist. He's always there for you, doesn't judge, listens carefully and asks great questions, and then he gives you a clearly explained diagnosis and treatment plan. The clinic is really pretty and runs like a well oil machine, also clean and also great assistants & secretaries & such. I'd definitely come back here and to Dr. Barankin.
Dr. Frieman is snobby, inattentive, has no time for your problem/questions (actually for you), seemingly waiting for you to leave him as quick as possible. I spent about 3 hours to get 2 minutes of his precious time and answers like "I don't know, it depends, in general, etc.". If you want to get a helpful consultation about your problems D. Frieman is not the right person to go to.
I have been coming to this clinic for several years now for my skin care needs. This is a very classy and professional dermatology clinic that does pretty much everything. My dermatologist is Dr Barankin and I am fortunate to be under his expert care. I enjoy visiting him since he's so positive and funny, and also helps me with whatever I bring him that day. The cosmetic side of the clinic is something I've explored just in the past year and I have been very pleased with the offerings & results.
Dr.barankin has been my dermatologist for about 8 years now and I can only say nice things about him and my experience. He has helped me with a myriad of skin issues from treating my warts and acne, to removing some moles for me and checking my skin to make sure I didn't have skin cancer. He has always been very professional and courteous, and he's very cutting edge as far as knowing the latest science and treatments. I'm very lucky to have him as my doctor. My mother sees him and loves him too.
Dr. Barankin and Toronto Dermatology Centre are the best that dermatology has to offer. I've seen many doctors including dermatologists in my lifetime (I seem to outlive most of them), and I can say without hesitation that the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently, that the staff are kind and caring, and that Dr Barankin has the knowledge and skills to give the best care possible. He has saved my skin so many times.
