I don't know what the other 2 people who gave a review were talking about, but there is a bunch of regulars that go to Toby's all the time and never had a problem with food, service, place is clean.
Arrived for lunch on our first day in Hamilton, realizing after it was too late to turn back that the restaurant smelled of burning rubber (?) Ordered coffee, BLT, and house soup. Coffee passable, soup okay but much too salty, and the BLT was a joke. Hard strips of rreheated bacon on cold toast with a scraping of mayonnaise leaves a lot to be desired, and it cost around 8 bucks. The fries that came with the sandwich were grease-soaked and unappetizing. Toby needs cooking lessons.
