We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. I've been here maybe 6 times, maybe more. The Sicilian pizza is delish! I also like the wings, tasty and crispy. I had their sweet potato fries with the sauce! MMMM I have not had a bad waiter or waitress here. Helpful and prompt is how I would describe them. One time I was sat by the kitchen which usually means you hear the arguing but no!
