Had lunch here once and swore it was the best sushi I'd ever had in Ottawa. Ate here a week later and it was good but not great. I admit though that I am a sushi novice. The fish tank was very entertaining to the two young in our party (both under 5 years old) . They were very considerate of the kids here, and accommodating, considering it is not an atmosphere I'd normally take kids to for dinner.

Ate there twice in past week......have not been disappointed.........had veal parm and Greek slouvaki.......excellent service and large portions.....meals came with soup or juice and rice pudding and or jello........very reasonable prices.....one skewer slouvaki was 12.99 and came on a bed of rice, fries and Greek salad.......did not have the soup has it would have been too much.........would highly recommend......going back tomorrow with friends lol.......

My husband and I have been a customer at the Oak on March Road since the first day they opened their doors. We have been patrons ever since, loved the staff for their friendly attitude, and the way they have cared over the years for their clients. Today this atmosphere has not changed and the staff, although younger are ever so caring and warm towards their customers. I recently retired from the GTA and moved to Lanark Highlands. We decided to try your restaurant last weekend. My girlfriend had the goulash and I had the schnitzel which was the second best I've ever had. The best was my late mother's. But you did come a very close second. The prices I found were reasonable and not overpriced as some patrons would lead you to believe. And if you complain about the wait, remember you're not eating at McDonalds. I guarantee you will not leave hungry.

I have to prempt everything that I am going to say with I did enjoy the food so much that I may go there again for dinner (am on contract in the area).
The hot and sour sea-food soup appeared to be small, but when the flavours filled my mouth, and I discovered 3 large cleaned shrimp (only tail bit remaining) I'm happy to say I'm quite pleased with this selection.
The mango salad was not available as a 'plain' mango salad, but also came with shrimp, making it $5-$7 more than I usually pay for mango salad. Again the shrimp were large, clean and fresh (good 'bite', not soggy at all), but the dressing seemed made at the last minute and didn't contain the rich complexity that the soup did. I don't know if I would order this again.

My wife and i came here for a night out. We had been recomended the Brew Table by the concierge at the Holiday Inn down the street. We had the steak frites and it was incredible. Cooked perfectly and the service was the best i have ever recieved anywhere. An amazing dining experience all around from appetizer to dessert. Will definately be coming back and definately be recomending to family and friends.

Had a wonderful lunch there on Monday with my out of town sister. We were hoping not to be rushed and we were not disappointed..
We were served promptly, service was attentive but not over done and he definitely let us have our time.
The food was amazing. The variety was extensive. Presentation was excellent.
I had the General Tao chicken with thai noodles and fresh veggies, peppers, snow peas & carrots I am told that is a promotional dish so I really hope they decide to keep it. I would go back just for that dish
My sister had a caesar wrap with request for crispy fries. It was real chicken, not pressed or processed and the fries were precisely to her liking
For 2 of us, the bill was $25. Good value for dollars spent.
