The Hound Lounge has been a life saver for us and our wild puppy Wally! She always has an amazing time and comes home exhausted from a full day fun with her friends. She can be very energetic and unfortunately she tore her pad from running around the first time she there. After speaking with the team they were very responsive and have since always assured me they will be on top of her and help her to calm down when she gets a wee bit wild. she has never had a that problem again! EXCELLENT! We've boarded our two dogs with Linda since moving to Peterborough in 2013. She is always happy to have them and we know the dogs feel the same because when they see her they completely lose it! So happy to see her! We never feel a bit of concern or worry when they stay with her and the one time there has been a health issue with one of them she calls right away and goes above and beyond to care for them. We first met Paul four years ago when we were trying to find a daycare facility that would take our two pups ages 9 weeks and 5 years old for a few hours while we attended the funeral of a family member in Orillia. We called on the way up from Toronto and Paul happened to be available and accommodating. He had a litter of Labs around the same age of Forest and he put Forest with his litter. We were very impressed with Paul, the facility and the care the dogs received and have been clients since. Read more

I’m 1997 I bought a dog from the humane society that was sick I took her to PPH and had her tested for parvovirus, she tested positive. I was advised that my dog would require treatment up to 5 days. I explained I was in between jobs, and couldn’t afford the cost. Dr. McD told me to bring her in and they would treat her for free!!! 4 daily trips to PPH.
