I run a fishing tournament in town each year, and this is our breakfast spot. Truth be told, it's really the only place in town that's open at an early hour, but they don't seem to take advantage of that. They go a little onion-happy sometimes so if you don't like onions make sure you tell them. We spend out summers at Bobcaygeon and visit Cody's with friends and family as often as possible. Wish there was chinese food 1/2 as good available in Burlington where we spend the winter. Their Lemon Chicken is to die for and we also all love the Shrimp and Peaches. The servings are so generous we always have lots to take home and enjoy the next day. Read more

The food here is your standard family diner fare in terms of quality, nothing special, but the selection is quite varied, Greek food, Italian, English/North American, basic burgers, I can't see anyone going here and not being able to find something they like. But above all is the location, right beside the falls. Sure, when eating on the deck it makes whispered conversation a wee bit difficult, but it's a good noise that's relaxing rather than annoying. Have lived in the area for years and Slurp n Burp has always been my favorite spot for breakfast. Good food, good service, bottomless coffee and fabulous location with outdoor patio overlooking lake. Fajitas were fantastic but steak was quite tough though cooked to order - had much better quality steak, I am thinking..We both found the gravy to be very salty and lumpy, and the steamed veggies tasted odd.
